Have a Treatment
It is a modality that does absolutely no harm. Other natural therapies claim to have similar effects as Reiki, and they are right in that they all have the energetic principle which aim at stimulating the body’s energy so it will flow smoothly again, removing the blockages, and hence promoting healing.
All peoples on earth throughout history have known about the invisible force that seems to keep things alive and going. It was understood that some kind of energy was flowing around, through, and within all living things. The Indians called it Prana, the Chinese called it Chi, the Japanese called it Ki, the Hawaiians called it Huna, etc. And this energy was studied rather thoroughly by shamans, medicine men/women, yoga masters and other energy practitioners.

Reiki Sessions
Professional sessions are offered by certified Reiki Practitioners as a complementary therapy and can be integrated into any health plan to support improved health and wellbeing. One or a series of sessions may be required.
Sessions involve the client lying down or sitting comfortably while fully clothed. The practitioner places their hands lightly on the body allowing a free flow of universal energy.
It is often recommended you learn Reiki so you can treat yourself daily as well.
Reiki Classes
The ability to perform Reiki is passed on from teacher to student during a Reiki class that also teaches hand positions to use during treatments on yourself and others. Reiki has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds around the world. *We do not accept online, mail order, DVD or other distant Reiki Training or Reiki Attunements for Membership with Reiki NZ Incorporated.
Reiki is taught in a series of three levels. There are three levels of Reiki training.
Beginners start at 1st Level (Reiki One). At this introductory level the student can perform Reiki on themselves, family and friends and it is not regarded as a practitioner level.
